Megan also owns Cactus Jack’s Saloon & Grill in downtown Evergreen, where she has always worked passionately to keep the enormous amount of boxes, cans and bottles that pass through her doors out of landfills. Managing so much recyclable waste and being curious and concerned about its ultimate fate gave Megan the impetus to share her recycling bug with the community at large. As owner of Foothills Recycling, she’s dedicated to advancing the recycling mission and capabilities of the Evergreen/Conifer area for all citizens who wish to do more to reduce the impact on our landfills and preserve our community for future generations.

 

Having made hundreds of trips to the recycling center herself over the years, Megan knows firsthand that recycling isn’t always easy. But the benefits outweigh the effort. Always and forever.
